Spotlight: Sleek Irish folk from duo The Winter Codes

We're loving this beautiful new track from The Winter Codes. 'Too Sly to Die' is jam-packed full of candid vocals, folk guitar and catchy groove. It's sure to resonate with listeners young and old. This Irish duo have truly managed to master the unique art of making music that feels spontaneous, yet catchy and unique at the same time. As an exciting example of The Winter Codes' excellent creative output, 'Too Sly to Die' really stands out as a deft blend of both the familiar and fresh, just enough of the intimate vibes that you expect from an indie-folk group mixed with more cinematic and lush production aesthetics that come through, especially in the form of those beautiful strings that we can hear in the background. This music should be your cup of tea if you enjoy the sound of Richard Thompson, The Undertones and Bob Dylan.
